We were thrilled to have reached the final for the first time of the Dublin round of the Conern Debating Competition. To come away with the win was a very welcome bonus!! This is the first time our school has reached the final of this competition- The Concern Primary Debates league. The motion for the final was “Universal internet access should be the top goal for 2026” We were delighted to tackle the opposing side against this motion. Our team of Luke Smith, Elizabeth Strode and Harry Fox have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks, researching and forming arguments. They have also been helped by other members of the debating group, Jenna Byrne took on the important role of timekeeper. We are all so proud of the skills that have been shown over the last few months.
