We are absolutely thrilled with the performances of our athletes from 4th, 5th and 6th class in Morton Stadium on Friday 22nd. We had students competing in a range of events including art, shot-put, long jump, sprints, 600m and relays. The children did themselves and the school so proud.
Well done to Chloe Quinn who claimed the bronze medal in the u14 art competition. This is the first time Scoil Maelruain has won a medal in the Cumann na bunscoil art competition so we are all so proud of Chloe’s artwork.
Big congratulations to Arianna Concannon who brought home gold in the u12 sprints and to Darcy Barry who brought home silver in the u14 sprints. Well done girls, an amazing achievement.
Also a huge congratulations to our u12 girls relay team- Madison Mc Keown,Ines Sztelmach, Arianna Concannon, Teagan Deering and Frankie Barry who won gold in the relay final and brought back the cup to school. Our Santry superstars!!
Well done to everyone, we are already excited to return next year and show everyone what the students from Scoil Maelruain Senior can do!!
