We were very pleased with how Creative/Wellbeing Week 2025 went in Scoil Maelruain Senior. The theme of Friendship linked with Bí Cineálta was reflected in many of the activities throughout the week.
Pupils took part in the Creative/Wellbeing Homework Grid and enjoyed the optional morning activities such as Yoga, Lego and Free Art. The whole-school poster and poetry Creative Competition on Friendship brought in many thoughtful entries, and the winners were announced earlier.
Anything But a Bag Day added some fun to the end of the week, and the ice-lolly treat (on one of the coldest days of the year!) was appreciated by the children. Overall, it was a positive week, and we were glad to see the pupils engage so well. A huge thanks to Ms Biesty and the Creative Committee for organising and to all other staff members who helped out.
