Last week was Active Week in Scoil Maelruain Senior. Our pupils had great fun clocking up their active minutes taking part in activities such as basketball, cricket, skipping, tag rugby and yoga. Each day began with a park run in Aylesbury Field that was very well attended. On Wednesday morning we welcomed a delegation of teachers from the Hungarian Active School Programme. Our Active School Committee and dedicated team of teachers, Mr Dunne, Ms Farrelly and Ms Cleary put on a great show and our visitors left very impressed by all of the good work going on in the school.
