Mr. Mac Cormaic’s class recently took part in an amazing project designing prototype costumes for wheel chair users. This project was headed by Google and engineering students from IT Tallaght who 3D print these designs for children in the service of the Laura Lynn Foundation.
The class created many amazing designs and in the end decided to reach out to a family in order to allow the class to do the work of the college students. Cayden O’Conner of recent DIY SOS fame was delighted to accept a costume and asked the class to create a James Bond 007 car costume.
For the next week the class became a busy workshop resulting in an amazing costume. Cayden collected his new vehicle and wearing his tuxedo he was the centre of attention for the Halloween celebrations.
