It was a beautiful ceremony; thanks also to Fr David Fleming who co-celebrated the ceremony. Well done to all the boys and girls who participated, read, or presented gifts. Thanks to the four 6th class teachers [...]]]> Congratulations to all the children in 6th class who were confirmed on Friday 8th June by Bishop Eamonn Walsh. It was a beautiful ceremony; thanks also to Fr David Fleming who co-celebrated the ceremony. Well done to all the boys and girls who participated, read, or presented gifts. Thanks to the four 6th class teachers , Ms Mc Hugh, Ms Walsh, Ms Scully and Mr Fitzgerald for all their hard work in preparing the children for  the confirmation.

The Scoil Maelruain School Choir sang at the ceremony, conducted by Ms Murphy and accompanied by Ms Biesty. Well done to all those from 4th, 5th and 6th class who sang so wonderfully. You can see some photos of the school choir below.

Many thanks also to the Parents’ Association who organised the Confirmation breakfast in the school hall after the confirmation ceremony. A great day was had by all despite the awful weather!
