Our Day in Croke Park

Well done to the Senior Boys Hurling team who took part in the Hurling final in Croke Park today. They gave it their all in the match but unfortunately we did not get the win we all wanted. Thanks to the boys, Mr Moore and Mr. De Paor who all put in so much hard work during the year to get us to the final.  Well done to all the great supporters who cheered the boys on in Croker and welcomed them home with a fitting guard of honour for our team.

Basketball Finals

On February 2nd our school basketball teams traveled to the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght to compete in the league finals.  All of the sixth classes also came to give us some support. Both teams played very well and we all had a great day!

There are some very dedicated basketball players in our school.  Over the last few weeks we’ve had a couple of matches. The children were lucky enough to be able to wear the new kit for the matches and we all agree they looked fantastic! We would like to thank the parents association for their kind donation to fund these kits, they are greatly appreciated. I’m sure you’ll all agree the children look great in them! Here’s to the new gear bringing good luck for the year!
