Christmas Art 2013

This year every class produced beautiful Christmas art to decorate the school hall. From Christmas jumpers, paintings, clay art and print, all strands of the art curriculum were covered. Thank you to all the children and teachers for making our school so colourful this Christmas. Below are some examples…

Scoil Maelruain Student Council

The Scoil Maelruain Student Council has recently been founded by Paul Zaki and Mark Mangan, along with the help of Logan MacBride, Victoria Babalola, Shauna Walsh, Joulee Zaki, Lucas Seiz, Milhea McCarton and the newer new guy Darragh Masterson. After receiving training from  The Tallaght Youth Council , this group of utterly amazing talented youngsters are now acting as a bridge between the students and the staff.

Wow! Over 100,000 hits.

Thanks to everyone who is using the school website. I am delighted to see how many hits it is receiving. More than 100,000 hits in the last 4 years is really impressive. Please spread the word to any interested family members or friends to check out what is going on at Scoil Maelruain Senior.

Name it!

Please could you ensure that all items of clothing have your name written on them. A lot of students lost jumpers, track suit bottoms and coats last year. This would be a great help. Thank you.

Welcome back!

We hope you are all settling back into the new school year. We would like to give a special welcome to our new 3rd class students and we look forward to getting to know you all.

New School Year 2013 - 2014

We look forward to welcoming all our students, new and old,  on Thursday, August 29th at 9:05.
