The Scoil Maelruain Student Council has recently been founded by Paul Zaki and Mark Mangan, along with the help of Logan MacBride, Victoria Babalola, Shauna Walsh, Joulee Zaki, Lucas Seiz, Milhea McCarton and the newer new guy Darragh Masterson. After receiving training from The Tallaght Youth Council , this group of utterly amazing talented youngsters are now acting as a bridge between the students and the staff.

More than 100,000 hits in the last 4 years is really impressive. Please spread the word to any interested family members or friends to check out what is going on at Scoil Maelruain Senior. Please could you ensure that all items of clothing have your name written on them. A lot of students lost jumpers, track suit bottoms and coats last year. This would be a great help. Thank you. We hope you are all settling back into the new school year. We would like to give a special welcome to our new 3rd class students and we look forward to getting to know you all. We look forward to welcoming all our students, new and old, on Thursday, August 29th at 9:05. We hope you all enjoyed the summer holidays and the sun that actually came out. The school will close at 12 o’clock on Friday 28th June Stay Safe are currently in the process of updating and revising the Stay Safe programme for primary schools. They would like to get as much feedback as possible about the programme, and are conducting an online survey of parents and teachers. Children currently in fifth class will be the first to experience the new Junior Cycle. Date: Wednesday 29th May Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm Venue: Dublin West Education Centre in the grounds of I.T. Tallaght. Confirmation will take place on Friday June 7th this year for students in 6th class. |
