Ms. N. Scully’s 6th class are holding a Cake Sale tomorrow, Thursday 15th of March in aid of The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght. This is a very good cause and we would really appreciate it if you would bring in cakes as a contribution!!
Each class will have an opportunity to come down to our room to purchase the cakes and support this cause!!

On Thursday March 24th Mr. Moore’s class held a cake sale and a raffle to raise money for people suffering from Battens Disease. Thanks to everyone who supported this very worthy cause. We managed to raise €738.00 which is fantastic.Well done.

A big thank you to all the people who took part in the Christmas Carol service. It was a huge success, thanks for your support.
Christmas Cards which were designed by pupils in our school last year will be on sale from December 1st. A pack of 12 cards will cost €4. Proceeds raised will go to the school and a donation will also be made to the local St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Our thanks to all parents and pupils, who raised a total of €8,557 towards the installation of interactive whiteboards. This combined with €8,200 from business raised by Martina Comerford and Lorraine Coffey, €1,500 from the Lotto Committee and €1,000 from the Parents’ Association makes a total of €19,257 collected.
Members of the Parents’ Association, and particularly Martina Comerford and Lorraine Coffey, have been very active of late fundraising for the installation of interactive whiteboards in classrooms. To date they have raised €8,200 in total from the following companies: Heatons, €3,700; Dunnes Stores, €3,700; Supervalue, Aylesbury, €500; Tesco, €200; Easons, €100. They have also donated €1,000 from their own funds and €630 for the purchase of athletes’ jerseys. Members of the Parents’ Association include Chairperson, Lorraine Coffey; Vice Chairperson, Teresa Gadd; Secretary, Martina Comerford; Vice Secretary, Anne McClelland; Treasurer, Bernadette Hudson and Vice Treasurer, Pamela Conway. Other members include Brenda Raethorne, Teresa Gadd, Christine Masterson, Martina Royal, Mary Brazil, Rhona McCarton and Susan Murphy.
