Trick or Treat for Temple Street

We would like to thank all the children involved and who contributed towards the Trick-or-Treat for Temple Street party which was held on Friday 26th October 2012.

There was tremendous work put into the costumes and the day was a great success, raising €418 for Temple Street Children’s Hospital, a very worthy cause.  We hope that every one enjoyed the day and thank you for your support.

6th Class, Ms. Scully.

5th Class Construction (Ms. Biesty)

Over the last few weeks we have been working very hard on our construction projects. As you can see from the pictures, we have constructed mini-towns from recyclable materials. Working in teams we planned, collected, built, painted and stuck our towns together and are very pleased with the results!

Ms Murphy's class news

Back In February we went to Storytelling in Tallaght Library. We heard legends from Ireland and China

For Easter we made cards using felt and wool. Click on the photos to see our creative creations.

Our class took part in the Discover primary Science programme. Here you can see us at Engineers week roadshow in Tallaght Stadium. We had a great time learning about the properties of different gases and about pneumatics.

As part of the Greenwave Study we measured and recorded the temperature, wind and rainfall. We also looked for signs of spring by looking for budding ash trees on our school grounds. Here you can see some photos of our science ‘hands on’ work.
