Current enrolment: 447 pupils. Staff: 25 teachers, 5 SNA’s.

Board of Management

Thanks to the BOM Members, Frank Moran, Tom Conway, Deborah Hegarty, Martina Comerford, Mairead Cullivan, Paul Flood and Margaret Murphy, who are extremely supportive of Scoil Maelruain and have been kept busy this year. Many thanks to Louise Kananagh who served on the Board for three years. Deborah Hegarty has replaced her. The BOM annual report may be viewed on the school website.

Ladies Friendship Games 2019

On the 14th of June Eve Coleman and Stephanie Smith represented Scoil Maelruain girls on the Dublin football team against Belfast as part of the Cumann na mBunscoil Friendship Games. They travelled to Belfast and played brilliantly. They had a great day!

Santry 2019

Well done to all the athletes from Scoil Maelruain Senior who represented the school in Morton Stadium on May 20th & 29th. All their training and hard work paid off. Despite being in the top division the children were successful in many events. Congratulations to our medial winners. Check out our slide show below.

Credit Union Quiz

Well done to all the children who participated in the Credit Union School Quizzes this year.

Our junior teams were awarded 1st and 2nd place at District Level and our senior teams came in at 2nd and 3rd place in the Senior competition. Congratulations to all those involved.

One of our junior teams went on to represent Scoil Maelruain Senior in the All Ireland Credit Union Quiz. It was a fantastic achievement to get to this level. Well done!
