On 22nd October 2018 our girls school team made it to Croke Park for the Corn Comhair Linn Final. When we got there we went into the dressing room and then into the green room to warm up. Then we walked up the steps and saw all our Maelruains supporters cheering and shouting our names. All our names and numbers came up on the jumbo screen. When the whistle blew we were ready to fight but after a tough match unfortunately we didn’t win. We had a great time. By Zara, Leah, Eve, Nicole and Shonagh 
A huge congratulations to our senior girls football team who made it to the finals in Croke Park against Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille today. The whole school went to cheer them on. The girls played fantastically well but unfortunately we didn’t get a win this time. Well done to all the creative pupils in Scoil Maelruain! Check out their amazing spooktacular display. Well done to the Student Council and the Green Committee who did a fantastic clean up job on the bicycle sheds. |
