On Wednesday 22nd all the 5th classes went on school tour. We went to Malahide park first and played in the playground there. Afterwards we went to Croke park where we had lots of fun. We saw the dressing rooms, the pitch and the stands. We walked along the skyline tour and finally we played in the games room. It was a great day!

Santry 2016

This year our school was very successful in Santry Sports despite being in a very tough division. After Easter we began preparing  for the competitions. We trained in the mornings and during break times . Everyone involved put in a lot of effort . Well done to all who participated and trained so hard. Keep up the running!

Ireland Colours Day for Barretstown

Ms Carty’s 3rd class would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their generous donations on Wednesday in aid of Barretstown.

We were delighted to raise €406.81 and we were able to present the money to Barretstown when they came to treat us to an afternoon of fun and games on Wednesday. We would also like to thank our classmate, Keelin Galvin and her family, for helping to organise the visit from Barretstown.

As we were all wearing our Ireland gear, we joined  forces with Ms Flood’s 5th class to record our version of the FAI Euros song ‘Hear the Irish Roar’.

Active School Morning Activities

Students in 3rd and 4th classes have been enjoying some very active mornings for the last few weeks with some fun activities taking place in the Halla before the school day starts. 3rd class children have been attending weekly “Be Active – Fun Fitness” sessions. With the help of some volunteer parents and teachers, the children complete circuits of fun, active stations. Morning badminton is also taking place with many children from 4th class coming to school early on Tuesday and Thursdays to enjoy a game- check it out for  a fun, active start to your day! Thanks to all the parents and teachers involved.
