Bridges Designed by Ms. Walsh’s Class

Step 1 :  We investigated how we could build solid structures using marshmallows and cocktail sticks.  We discovered that triangular shapes worked well.

Step 2 : We attended a workshop in Tallaght Library during Engineers Week.  There we built bridges from ‘K’Nex and got some advice from Engineers!

Step 3 : We sketched our ideas, gathered materials and began to build our bridges.  We held an exhibition of our bridges.
